According to Hawaii news, two Marines have died as the result of serious personal injuries sustained in an airplane crash that occurred this past week. The aviation accident occurred during a training exercise at the Marine Corps Training Area Bellows aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Reports indicate that 22 Marines were aboard the aircraft when it made a hard landing. There was also a fire on the aircraft, and whether it caused the accident or was a result of the accident is unknown.
The accident remains under investigation.
